A couple of weeks ago, I was having a discussion with a friend who told me that she could not believe that I liked Twilight.... This friend, LOVES fantasy novels, tv shows and movies so I was puzzled by her statement. When asked why she said to me, "you're such a strong willed woman, I cannot believe that you would agree with how controlling Edward is with Bella, HE WAS STALKING HER!!" After a little thought, I realized that she definitely has a point, but it still doesn't change the fact that it is a book and that it is not real! I would not however, allow my tween daughter to watch these movies for that reason.
What are your thoughts on the relationship between Edward and Bella? Is he controlling or just in love?
